In April 2023 Jonas Gerigk invited the two Berlin based musicians Anaïs Tuerlinckx and Burkhard Beins to join him for a week of musical experiments and sessions. The premises of the long established venue Saxstall, located in a converted farm in the remote Saxonian village Pohrsdorf, provided them with ideal conditions for a relaxed but focused work phase. The venue sports an impressively huge collection of saxophones. An odd surrounding for this line up of piano, bass and percussion. The week-long musical explorations of the trio culminated in a live concert, well received by the regular Saxstall punters despite its only vague references to the venue's usually more jazz related programme.
