Koppelfeld exists in the line-up Burkhard Beins and Orm Finnendahl since March 2003.
A wide variety of sounds derived from assorted drums, cymbals and objects become recorded and treated by the computer to be played back live as an integral part of the musical process.

Orm Finnendahl, *1963, lives in Berlin and Freiburg. 1983-90 studying composition and musical science with Frank Michael Beyer, Gösta Neuwirth and Carl Dahlhaus in Berlin. 1988-89 California Institute of the Arts in Los Angeles. 1991-95 artistic director of the Klangwerkstatt Kreuzberg. 1995-98 studies with Helmut Lachenmann. 1996-2001 head of the Institut für Neue Musik, HdK Berlin. Since 2000 lecturing at the Institut für Computermusik und elektronische Medien (ICEM), Folkwang-Hochschule, Essen. Since 2004 chair at the Music University Freiburg and head of it's electronic studio. Several compositions.

Burkhard Beins has also participated in performances of interactive compositions by Orm Finnendahl.
